1. Do I Need a Makeup Trial?
In most cases for a wedding, yes!  A trial will take approximately 1.5hrs, we will work together to ensure that you are 100% confident with the outcome for your wedding day.  At the trial we get to meet each other and I can confirm your wedding details, including:
    • Wedding date confirmation, arrival times, venue details, photographer arrival, how many people requiring makeup, quote for the day etc.
    • Discuss the look for you, including individual lashes versus full bar lashes, makeup style for you and your bridesmaids, airbrushing vs traditional, spray tan
    • Special requirements.
  2. Are you a mobile service?
Please contact me directly to enquire.  Travel fees will apply.
  3. What areas do you service?
Mobile makeup artist servicing all Brisbane areas.  I will service other areas however a travel cost may be applied.
  4. Why book with you?
I have been in the industry for 9 years, I keep up with current trends and styles and only use quality products.  I take a lot of pride in my work and put my heart and soul into each individual makeup.  Everyone is different and has individual needs. I listen carefully to what you are asking to ensure the outcome is unique to you and your qualities.
  5. How long does it take to have my makeup applied?
Most makeups are applied within 45-60 minutes.
  6. What does a trial cost?
Trial cost is $100 for makeup only or $200.00 for hair and makeup trial.
  7. How soon should I book?
You need to book your wedding makeup asap, especially during peak wedding season. So book today to avoid disappointment!
  8. How much does it cost?

Please refer to the Services page which lists all current pricing and services.

  9. Do I need to pay a deposit to hold the booking?
I do not hold bookings just from an enquiry or expression of interest.  To hold your booking you need to pay a “booking fee”.  Once a booking fee is paid and only then, will your booking be confirmed. You booking fee is only small (approximately one makeup) and this comes off the total owing on your wedding day. Your booking fee is non-refundable.
  10. What is airbrushed makeup?
Experience the latest makeup has to offer. Applied to the skin in a fine mist, airbrush is popular with Bride’s for many reasons including:
    • Long wearing and lasts all day
    • Flawless coverage for that ‘airbrushed’ look
    • Great for all skin types, including sensitive skin
    • Feels like you’re not wearing makeup
    • Water based so great for people with allergies
    • No touch-ups required
    • Can hide blemishes & birth marks.
  11. Why would I choose airbrushing over traditional application?

Airbrushed makeup is far superior to traditional application and is applied with a fine mist. You cannot achieve the same coverage applying it with a brush.  Airbrushed foundation does not require the use of heavy concealers which are sometimes thick under the eyes.  There is absolutely no comparison, airbrushing is the only way to go for your wedding if you are after a “photoshopped flawless looking skin”.
  12. How much deposit do I have to pay and is this refundable?
Approximately one full priced makeup.  This comes off the total on your wedding day.  Paying a booking fee is the only way to hold your booking.

    * Booking dates are only confirmed once the booking fee is paid.  To hold your booking, especially during peak periods, you may want to pay your booking fee if the date is confirmed available.  Booking fees are non-refundable.

  13. Do you offer discounts?
Any bookings for three or more makeups are at a reduced fee.
Please contact me to discuss what discounts can be offered.  If a booking fee is paid within 2 weeks of being quoted I will offer a 10% discount off hair and makeup.
  14. Will you cancel on me?
Once booked with me your wedding is confirmed and I will not cancel on you. I will follow-up with an email the week before your wedding confirming all your booked details, you will not have to chase me. You can have 100% assurance that I will be there on your wedding day and I will not cancel on you for a larger booking.
  15. Do you also do hair?
No. I specialise in makeup only, however I do have preferred suppliers and can assist with organising this for you if you require a hairdresser and makeup artist on the day.  That way we can both come to you and you will not be running around on your special day.
The hairdresser will be organised at the same time for your trial so you can have your hair and makeup trial done together.
  16. Do you do formal makeup or other?
Yes. I am a fully qualified makeup artist and can do just about any makeup style requested.
